The APEC Digital Hub for Mental Health was well-represented at APEC SOM3 meetings taking place this 15-30 August 2019 in Puerto Varas, Chile. Dr. Jill Murphy, Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Digital Hub, presented during the Life Sciences Innovation Forum Planning Group (LSIF PG) meeting on 17 August, providing an update on progress under APEC's Roadmap to Promote Mental Wellness in a Healthy Asia Pacific (2014-2020) and sharing preliminary recommendations for next steps and priorities post-2020.
Dr. Murphy and Dr. Raymond Lam, Executive Director for the Digital Hub, also provided a status update to the Health Working Group (HWG) on 19 August 2019, including an update on the forthcoming Workplace White Paper/Tool.
Recommendations were shaped by the Digital Hub's 'Next Steps' Round Table and Work Group meetings held 26-28 June 2019 in Singapore and have been publlished in a forthcoming Interim Report on the post-2020 Vision for Mental Health and Wellness in the Asia Pacific. The full Interim Report will be shared with Digital Hub partners and wider stakeholders soon.
