The 9th International Together Against Stigma (TAS) Conference will be taking place this 3-5 October 2019 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore.
TAS is an international platform for the global community to come together to discuss and learn about issues relating to mental health stigma, including the latest developments, research outcomes, and best practices in this field.
Healthcare and social service professionals, researchers, academics, anti-stigma campaigners, politicians, employers, people with lived experience of mental health conditions, caregivers, as well as others with interest in the area are invited to attend.
This year, the TAS conference has been supported by the National Council of Social Services of Singapore and other partners, including the Institute for Mental Health (IMH) and its international driver, the World Psychiatric Association.
Conference presentations and sessions are organized around five topics or themes; these are: social inclusion in the workplace and community; the power of the media and social movements; professionals, policy and practice; recovery and people with lived experiences; and skills-based workshops.
